I want to cloak my affiliate links using php in notepad, but file saves as microsoft picture it!?
Every time I create a txt file in notepad and try to save as a php to upload to my blog, it doesn't work. The end result is always a file Type: microsoft picture it! My steps are: Save as...Name of file.php Type of file...all files encoding...ansi how do I get around this?
It's perfectly fine what you're doing, your computer just thinks .php can be opened by the microsoft picture & fax viewer. After you upload it, it should work just fine.
